repeatedly. When a new UPS battery backup system is purchased, it typically takes the SLA battery 12-16 hours to fully
recharge when it is installed. When a power outage occurs, the ups backup battery can give 5 minutes to 90 minutes of
reserve power, depending on how big of a battery backup system was purchased. If the UPS battery does not hold charge
for very long on reserve power, it might be time to replace your old UPS battery backup system with a new battery.
There is a LED test light on most UPS backup battery systems and will let you know if the battery is in good condition
or needs to be replaced.
